two of my works have been selected for this year european glass context at bornholm, denmark.
they will be exhibited at grønbechs gaard from september 10th - november 11th 2016.

I will be exhibiting with a serie of work - both sides now - at "privaten" - sak kunstbygning, svendborg, from january 24 - february 28. At this exhibition I will be showing elements from my process alongside the work serie.
opening of this, and mogens gissels exhibition, will take place on saturday january 23 - 2-4pm.

danish design now - exhibition 2016
very great news! designmuseum denmark has - with a donation from new carlsberg foundation - acquired two works from the serie - both sides now - for the museums permanent collection and is to be exhibited at the - danish design now - exhibition, opening march 2016.
it is these two works that has found the best home! here exhibited at the biennale of craft and design august 2015.

firstly, have the tools in order..
building up structure with solid glass
applying sculpted glass to blown glass
glass braiding..

making many, cooling off at the floor
crushing them to minor pieces
placing them in a frame to heat up, letting them melt slightly together
picking up on blowing pipe

here made by blowing, cutting, mending and sealing..

- is being sealed with pre-made clear glass rods and a torch
after the glass is sealed and melted together, it is transferred from the blowing pipe to the punty
- and opened up
next day, after 10 hours annealing, the glass is ready to drink from (number 3 from left)
